ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Katie, a theatre artist, comedian, and educator based in Brooklyn , NY.

As an artist, I am passionate about telling “ordinary” stories in inventive and reverential ways. I believe that theater is the perfect venue for exploring the parts of life that can make us feel alone in a space that asks us to be together. I believe my love for theater and comedy has its roots in my fundamental love for and interest in people. I am drawn to character-driven stories, especially those that center women and queer individuals, that leave room for complexity, conflict, and joy.
